Unlocking while overseas?

Hi All,

Still have one of the C500's and have recently moved over to the US. Although I have a phone with the new company, I wanted to de-cert & unlock my C500. I no longer have the Orange SIM and have therefore placed my US-company-issued SIM into the phone. After powering up it comes up with a screen saying

SIMLock

Network is locked.

Please input unlock code

I can't get past this screen! I have connected the C500 to my laptop and am running ActiveSync - so can easily browse through the phone directory listing. What do I do to get past this screen?

And apparantly www.spv-developers.com do a free unlock, or http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ have one that costs 20 quid or something, but you can probably trust them, so i've heard!

Havn't tried any of these myself, just seen them in other posts.

Do a search of this site for c500 unlock and you'll find all these discussions easy.
