SPV M5000 cant send / receive outlook email?

Hi,

This may be a very stupid question!

I have an M5000 and the send / receive button in "outlook email" is greyed out unless I am connected via activesync to my PC. How do I check and send email unless I am next to my PC??

Even when I am connected via GPRS, it is still greyed out!

Am I doing something wrong here?

Nope, you're not doing anything wrong

The "Outlook Email" option is sync'd automatically (if you have it selected) with ActiveSYnc - it's not an account that you can send/receive from in the normal way of connecting to a POP/IMAP or SMTP server.

Having said that you can set it up to sync over GPRS with your MS Exchange server if you have one
