Iconbar White Triangle

I recently updated to ROM 1.49 and periodically get this icon on my iconbar. It is an inverted triangle. Can anyone tell me what this symbolizes?

well the only triangle symbol I can think of is the 'roaming' symbol.

Yep this normally means you are out of your normal network coverage and are now using another network to make your calls. Calls while set to roaming are at a higher rate.

To get the roaming icon your network has to enable this feature, the updating of the ROM will not have anything to do with it.

Mine does the same thing and yes, it's the roaming symbol. But I'm not getting charged for roaming. It's a bug. Cingular said it happens to a lot of Motorolla phones. Very minor problem ovarall really. I'm not worried about it.
