Bluetooth file transfer - c550

I have a new c550 but when i try to transfer files by bluetooth (not via activesync) i get an error saying "make sure the obex push profile is installed" from my laptop.

can anyone help. thanks.

p.s. i have activsync working via bluetooth

Hey i use smart explore.. it lets you send VIA BLUETOOTH.. but i cant find a full version :cry:

A full version of Smart explorer can be bought from the website .The "obex" is Object Exchange and i think it has to do with your laptop .Have u first paired the two devices?

Don't u have some options over there ,from what u r saying it refers to obex profile that might b somewhere in the bluetooth options on your laptop .

My laptop can communicate via bluetooth with other phones and send files. My friends phone can send files to other phones but neither can send files via bluetooth to my c550.
