Guest frem Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) Here is my question as someone in the world ever manage to get a Delivery Report from a MMS he sent under a Windows Mobile OS that use "MMS COMPOSER" to send the message? Here is the problem, this one as been bugging me even under my WM2003 smartphone. For some unknown reason "Delivery Report" or "Read report" Never worked for me after I sent a MMS. The person on the other side does receive the MMS but for some reason the "delivery report" NEVER comes even though the option are checked: Here I’m not crazy: The MMS does arrive (I asked the person I sent the MMS to) they even replied me. But I never received the delivery report. Apparently I have a friend who is under an other phone provider (ORANGE and I’m under SFR) and also as a WM2005 device a SPV M3000 (HTC wizard) and he as the exact same problem no delivery report even when the option is checked. I now know a Third person who as the exact same problem and as a SPV C600 : HTC tornado. I personally own a QTEK 8310 (HTC Tornado) and had a SPVE200 (HTC Voyager) before with the same problem. All those phones use MMS Composer to send MMS. I know this is not a PHONE NETWORK PROBLEM. Because I did some test with other phones that also do MMS and are under other OS and use different system to send MMS and they DO RECEIVE the “Delivery Report” so it’s not ORANGE or SFR that blocks them, but obviously something wrong with the MMS composer software. So here is my question as someone in the world ever manage to get a Delivery Report from a MMS he sent under a Windows Mobile OS that use "MMS COMPOSER" to send the message? And if someone know a solution for this problem please tell me. I tried to contact ARCSOFT about their software, but there answer was : --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Response (Adele) 11/15/2005 11:56 PM Hello frem, According to your information, we have discussed the problem with our engineers and they said that Notifications are usually set up through the service provider of the mobile unit. In this case, we recommend you contact the device provider or manufacturer for more information. Sorry for the inconvenience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please help me they seem not willing to admit that something is wrong with their software. Thank you in advance and happy New Year. frem Edited January 3, 2006 by frem

Guest frem Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 UP UP COME ON people do the test, send a MMS with MMS composer and tell us if you get a delivery report.
Guest frem Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Moved to Help & Advice <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank you. Come on evryone do the test to send a MMS with MMS COMPOSER. I also noticed an other bug for the SMS M$ client onWM2005 devices. Since the 2005 version of the OS, it always says that sms are delivered successfully even if they did not arrive, this didn't happen before under WM2003.
