Guest jpearn Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 I guess I'll have to buy one and possibly use my Dremel to find out how well it works . . . Jaosn.

Jaosn. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It looks like it may be the same size as a standard mini-SD so should fit without mod's the only problem, is does the mini-SD support sdIO ?? the next thing is are there drivers form WM5 smartphone?? or is this aimed at Pocket PC's that are starting to use mini-SD with sdIO??
Guest iflya Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Ooh Ooh Ooh ... please say it works ... please find those drivers ... E : )
Guest rsearley Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Ooh Ooh Ooh ... please say it works ... please find those drivers ... E : ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its not simply a case of drivers, i think the sd slot is only for memory cards, so does not support SDio Now which is required to make other devices like a WiFi card work So unless anyone can confirm the hardware already support SDio then there is little chance it will work!
Guest iflya Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 According to the Expansys website it works on smartphones with a Mini SD slot ... seen as they get this from the manufacturers, chances are that it works! http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=1...partner=froogle Shame i dont have £85.00 ... Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I definatly would not base anything on the technical info on expansys. I have no problem buying from them (and have had nothing but good results doing this) but their tech info is often well off the mark. just my 2p gerryR

Guest chucky.egg Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Why are you waiting for someone else to tell you? Why not look up the specs of the C600 memory slot yourself?

Why not look up the specs of the C600 memory slot yourself? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or, order a card, and if it does not work return it... after all if the website say all smartphones, if it does not work they would legally be required to accept it back under the EU distance selling directive so nothing relly to be lost by trying
