ext lcd text color

I changed my external LCD to a picture that has a lot of white in it, and the text color is white so I cannot see anything really. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to make the text (like the date, time, and service signal) a darker color? preferably black if possible

Go to this registry: HKCU\ControlPanel\ExternalLCD

and you will see the only options that I know of for the Ext LCD. Unless you want to be brave and add in a new value, I wouldn't mess with it. All you can do there is the contrast, image, and flip logo for when you open the phone. That's I all I know. Have fun.
