Guest Ste25 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 Hi all Not really a problem but more of an annoyance. Everytime i run an application, task mgr leaves the process running rather that killing itself once i exit a program. Thus meaning i have to keep entering task mgr to end the program again. Is there anyway task mgr will kill processes automatically once i exit the programes via the gui ? thx
Guest Amun.hidden1 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 my c600 closes by itself applications based on usage history ! that is...once i open the 10'th application, the 9 most recently used pplications remain opened only...so it does have self memory management the c500 does the same thing...does the c550 do not ?
Guest Ste25 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 Mines the C550 and it doesnt seem to unless im doing someting wrong. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Guest SinisterJunkie Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Smartphone applications are generally not intended to be exited but to stay running in the background. The Windows Mobile OS haddles the memory usage an shuts down applications when the device gets close to running out of memory. You could use xbar to set the level of memory usage that would force xbar to shut down application.
