Guest trimy Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Ring tone of C550 could only be setted with MID or WAV files? Could we use mp3 or wma files?

Unfortunately, I could only see the mp3 files in the list of sound setting, but the ring tong setting can't be saved after I confirmed it, it's return to the first file in the list - Alarm1. And why other sound setting, like the SMS, can't display the mp3 file except the Ring tong. I am quite confused now. Is there any problem that I chang the regedit setting to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Controlpanel\Soundcategories\Ring\directory= \Storage Card\ and other similar: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Controlpanel\Soundcategories\...\directory= \Storage Card\ I got my c550 last day, and the operator version is 8.2.1.11 which is the newest one I think.
Guest trimy Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 sorry, I made a mistake. The mothod I used is right. The mp3 ring tone works though the setting display another song, because the regedit had been changed using the mp3 file.
