O2 XDA mini s

Hi all, Just wondered if any users of this phone would be able to comment on the "phone" features please. I have had a C500, which I liked & got used to it's quirks, just wondered what the mini s was like in daily use, is it left on all day like a C500, or on standby, blank screen, like a pocket pc. Sorry if this sounds daft ;)

Well i've not long bought myself an XDA Mini S from ebay as an upgrade to my C500.

Haven't used it to its full potential yet but it is a very good device, a lot bigger than the C500 so be prepared for that.

Answering your question about the screen timeout, yes it does go off (standby) like a pocketpc. I'd say its more like a small pocketpc than a phone.

The keyboard is great, very good for writing text messages and when your browsing the web.

Thanks for quick reply, the screen timeout could be a deal breaker for me, as I always like to use my phone as a watch! & like to see missed calls & texts at a glance. Some adjustment would be needed to live with one of these perhaps :D
