Guest gopips Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Hi, Can anyone help - I can not get my new O2 XDA mini to connect to any networks that are available and hence the internet! I have tried all the settings I can think of and have now run out of ideas. My router is not MAC filtered and I have tried serveral combinations on network security from open/disabled to WPA-PSK TKIP with key. The device can see the network and it is available, but it will not connect. Cheers
Guest fraser Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Download vxUtil and vxIpConfig. Verify that you are getting a valid IP address (not 169.254.x.x) and can ping the router. This will tell you if the problem is in the connection, or something wrong with the phones "access the internet" settings. Do it with security off on your wireless if you can.
