Help - C600 and Copilot 6 not working

Hi,

I have been running Copilot 6 for a while on my C500, just got my C600 and once I got over the whole activate/deactivate thing I got CoPilot 6 installed on the C600 but it doesnt work!

It installs and opens up OK (although it gives the message "Unable to open CoPilot. Please make sure the storage card is inserted or that the data has been properly downloaded.")

It appears to work but doesnt do 2 things : show map detail at all (blue screen); and the voice doesnt work (even in the voice choice menu).

I have installed/uninstalled it many times, tried installing with 2 different cards in its always the same.

Anyone help? Cant see any mention of C600/CoPilot6 problems on the web - is it just me ;)

Did you download the latest version with WM5 support?

I have solved the problem so thought id post for info:

Installing Copilot Live 6 for Smartphone via the Copilot CD straight to your phone vis ActiveSync will not work!!! It does not copy the voice or map data!!!

You have to install Copilot onto your PC and use the Download wizard to recreate the installation folders that were on the supplied storage card when new. One is called Copilot, the other 2577. Approx 117mb total.

Then insert the card into your phone and it will install, after an error message!!! - you have to goto File Manager and run AUTORUN.EXE from the CoPilot folder.

All of the above they forget to mention during installation of course ;)
