You need the motorola upgrade wizard. There are 2 versions, an online and an offline. You can get the online edition from ATT's website in the U.S last I checked. Run this with your phone connected and it will check for the latest rom automatically. The offline edition is more useful as you can point it to any relevant upgrade rom and it will install it. It works with the mpx200 as well. Do a google search to come up with that and also some newer roms for it. Where did you source the phone from? go to your network operator's website .... there should be a ROM update from there Wasn't freely available from networks in the UK so no such network support exists outside the US for this phone AFAIK. Interesting to see what Vodafone UK do regarding blackberry connect for the mpx220 though, as it's listed as a supported handset but doesn't work natively with a BES.. Richard
Guest mch_87 Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 (edited) p.s: I'm mainly using O2 got the phone from expansys Edited January 9, 2006 by mch_87
Guest fluffcat1 Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 p.s: I'm mainly using O2 got the phone from expansys probably a HK phone then? or did you get the EU version? If you have the invoice and it's under warranty perhaps worth popping to a motorola service centre. One thing to bear in mind when flashing - write down the steps to get into the regional settings to change the language as if you end up flashing the rom with an updated foriegn one the language will be reset to the default for that rom eg chinese.
