Guest FrankyG Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I recall a petition, from about April last year I think, for flat rate GPRS. Paul (O'Brian), what became of this? Is there any possibilty of Flat rate GPRS from Orange? (at a reasonable price!) I have the M5000 and my first months usage was 90 Mb - gulp. Fine at the moment as I'm on the 1 Gb trial-but the M5000 will lose much of it's appeal when I have to severly curtail my data usage. I would actually consider selling it. Why oh why do the networks (well, Orange at least) charge so much for GPRS-it truly is a rip-off
Guest chucky.egg Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Ah, those were the days, werent they? Petition for Flat Rate GPRS http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=94441 FWIW Orange did think it was a good idea, but the only introduced it for PAYG customers - £1/day for "all you can eat" http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=229856
Guest JesusDoesVegas Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I dont know how much it is in the UK, or wherever the hell you orange users reside, but here in the states im with cingular, and they charge me $10 a month for 5mb. 5mb is a bit tiny. $10/month is a bit steep. I dont understand it, but I pay it. im cingulars zombie until my contract runs out.
