MP3 ringtone problem

I have been using MP3's as ringtones, but recently installed pocketmvp_spv player.

Now I cannot select mp3's as ringtones.. I go into Sounds and select the file.. but i cannot play the file nor save it as my preferred tone..

Any ideas..??

How do i un-install pocketmpv from my phone..??

I have a C550 on Orange fully unlocked..

Start - settings - remove programs?

I tried that, but it states that it cannot remove the program...

To remove the program u have to follow the steps above and make sure u don't use the program while uninstalling it .If u can't unisntall it ,it may b possible u have deleted file(s) used by it .Anyway .mp3 files have to be assigned (associated ) with WMP in order to be set as ringtones .So u can go to file manager select Menu>File>Asociate and select "wmplayer.exe" .Be aware that some ROM versions don't support .mp3 as ringtones . ;)
