Guest jianghaoism Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Hi everyone, I've just got an imate sp5 recently and would like to ask a few questions...being trying to surf around to find answers for the queries below but haven't found anything that might be able to help...hope there's someone here who can help me and others who might be facing the same probs too! 1) Is there any way to view tasks on the homescreen? I used to use oxios plugins when using my old dopod phone, but it doesnt work with wm5...and i haven't seen any other program that does this other than facade - which im not a fan of coz you can't view the tasks and appointments together on one screen. 2) Start menu editing - I used to be able to just move files like calendar.lnk and other original windows shortcuts in the windows / start menu folder around on the old phone, but on my current phone i can't, and am always getting the error message that it can't move these files. Has anyone been able to edit their start menu? I like putting my shortcuts into folders i can access on the start menu...and would love to be able to do that on my new phone! 3) Has anyone had any problems with Oxios hibernate on wm5? I'm able to run it sporadically...but more often than not it just doesn't respond at all! Would love to have it working... I'm really enjoying having the new sp5, but the above are things that have been bugging me and hope someone here can help! Thanks!
Guest gu5tav0 Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 FACADE should do the trick. I used to use Oxios as well. I just got my Cingular 2125 and have not personally tried Facade but it should work. Check out these HOMESCREENS for an example.
Guest gacajun Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Papyrus calendar app from SBSH replaces the calendar app and it works together with their Facade homescreen product. With Papyrus you can choose to just see your appointments or your appointments and tasks on the Facade homescreen. The Papyrus app also includes the task manager app so it is tightly intergrated. I use both of these apps and I like them.
Guest Oxios Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I used to use oxios plugins when using my old dopod phone, but it doesnt work with wm5...Oxios Tasks Plugin 1.60 is now Windows Mobile 5.0 compatible http://www.oxios.com/plugins/
