Problems with Backing up M500

Has anybody experienced a problem with performing a full backup using activesync. when i try and run a backup it gets as far as copying a file called \programfiles\orangehelp\media.xml and then the process seems to crash. i left this running for about 40 minutes with no movement and the only way i seem to be able to switch this off is to disconnect the phone from the pc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mark
