Is their a way to set the time of a smartphone via the cellular system?

(not just via NTP server)

I found a few NTP server programs to set the time.

It would be much nicer if it was like the Nokia though where the time was set via the Cellular Providers network. This would make it so when you land in various time zones the clock is automatically adjusted accordingly.

My smartphone was set to automatically update the time and date off the network by default. Go to Start - Settings - More - Phone Settings - Other and set Time to Auto.

Hope that helps. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion SinisterJunkie but this doesn't work on my Cingular 2125 (I'm assuming they probably don't work under WM5 in general). Does anyone have any other idea's, I've been looking for a solution to this problem for awhile myself. It seems that there should be a registry key for it or something but I haven't found it. Does anyone have access to any documentation that explains all of the built in registry keys?

The 2125 uses active sync and your pc time to set the time on your phone
