Guest peterweg Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 I bought an XDA mini S recently on a Data 5 contract. It recieved 3 SMS messages as I was setting it up. Before I had a chance to open them they were deleted. Is that normal? What were the messages (titled something like 'Welcome to o2' and your password.
Guest blun Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 The messages were from O2 giving you your username and password to log into O2 online (to check bills etc..). I accidentally deleted mine too by hard resetting! If you go here - you can request them by email. Alternatively I'm sure they could send the texts again if you call customer services. Let me know if you have any success.
