Hama headphone adapter

On Hama website i spotted this item:

On the picture adapter has Nokia connector but description claims: " Connection of mobile phone: with universal 2.5 mm jack plug"

So im wondering if it will work with my HTC Tornado/Qtek 8310 phone, or any other HTC smartphone for that matter...
