Before and after pics of a website i am working on

Hey everyone, firstly i just wanna say happy new year to everyone, and hope ya had a good one.. i had a really good one, though dont remember anything at 12:30.. lol

anyway aint posted anthing in a while and well though i may add something that i am working on and hopefully get some help/ideas on how to make my site better.

anyway a lil history on the site, its a small hawaiian restaurant in london, nothing big, and therefore dont have money to spend on web advertising all their advertising done through printed media.

well i worked there for a while in my early uni years (3years ago) lol done a very very shite site, for them and actually got paid for it.. not a lot but hey werent complainig. anyway.. since then i been telling then let me update it, wont be expensive just please let me do it. but being as tight as they are they seemed to like the old one and seem no reason to update it. The thing is that the 1st site was made in front page and has xml bindings which only seem to work in IE, Safari, fireforx users cant see xml binded stuff!

anyway decided today to try something new, been reading alot of ajax and xml request stuff lately and well decided to see if i can come up with someting.. all this when i should be revising for an exam on friday.. but if u gotta idea.. u gotta go trough with it.

well done a simple design formatted with css, image from an old wallpaper i had [not mine]. it aint all formatted correctly yet....need to more the text up into the middle structure the left menu correctly and align it all.. but hey it just version .01 still has loads more to do
