WM5 O2 EXEC Shortcuts

Hi All

On the main today screen (for those who have WM5 on Orange, T-Mobile or O2 devices), there are 2 icons on the bottom right hand corner (wireless connectivity and screen layout). Is there a way to ADD shortcuts to this area, or commonly useful applications?

I do have the SPB Pocket Plus add-in, but would like to know if this is possible?

Also, anyone know of ANY decent pieces of software for WM5? Tried the site http://www.wm5fixsite.com but this is now running out of ideas and only shows apps that are not mainly compatible ;)
