Does orange Backup need a password?

but i cannot remember if i specified a password when i set up orange backup, if i did, the phone stored it..

How do i check, or reset password etc..??

If you checked "remember my password" your username (and a shrouded version of your password) is stored in the registry. Now, if you could get to your registry, you'd be able to see them. Of course, to get to the registry, you'll have to unlock your device which means a hard reset which means no more registry key. Bummer.

However, if you've been doing backups, you presumably do have "remember my password" checked. If you run Orange Backup and select "Sign Out" from the menu, you should see the Sign In form with your username filled in.

Hopefully you provided a real email address when you signed up for your Orange Backup account...
