Guest popanot Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Is there any way to have the phone flip-up ear piece active in addition to the bluetooth (BT) headset? The problem I have is when my BT is active and I get a call, only the headset in enable. A lot of times I'm not wearing it (like when I'm at work or at home) so when I get a call my first reaction is to just pick up my phone, flip it open and answer the call (using only the phone). I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a call and picked up the phone and said...hello...hello..., only to realize my BT headset is sitting 4 feet away and the caller is talking and wondering what the heck is going on... In short, is there a setting somewhere where I can have the BT active and still answer a call through the phone the normal way? Maybe I'm missing something here...
Guest hhol Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Which BT headset are you using? I use HS810 and it works great. The headset has a boom and when I open that and wear it , all calls gets transferred to the headset. If I want to switch back to the phone all I have to do is close the boom. The newer model HS850 works the same and has better reception and range. Is there any way to have the phone flip-up ear piece active in addition to the bluetooth (BT) headset? Guest abhayseth Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Good to try the NEW JABRA BT 800 - it has a CALLER ID AND VIBRATING FEATURE - also can select if u want to answer or reject a call using the headset.
