No it is not 3G however it does support EDGE which is much faster than standard GPRS

Orange UK do not yet support edge, and they may never do!

Dam, I was sure that 3g was what all the fuss about C600 was. Isn;t the C550 a better product than C600?

It's ok I'm sold on the C600 now:-

Windows Media Player 10

Larger, higher resolution screen

1mp camera

Windows Mobile 5

I think the biggest difference is WM5 and the higher res screen

if you have neither and had to make the choice then i would say go for the C600, as i can imagine software being produced only for WM5
