ActiveSync name for C600

Is it possible to change the name given to my C600 when I connect using ActiveSync?

I believe its a registry thing but that's not my area of expertise.

Tweaks2k2 might help you though if it supports WM05.

I've had so many AS connection problems though that I'm changing the name several times a day :evil:

Try changing the value of this Registry key - this should do it:

HKLM\Ident\Name

Yep it worked! ;) I had to reboot though. Well it seemed I used a name my previous phone also had.. bugger.. BUT the activesync asked me to change the name to something unique. That worked. I checked the registry on my phone again and it was changed to the new name I gave.
