:oops: I've been wanting this phone for so long and now that I have it....I can't get on the internet....please someone help me. I had a motorola v180 and the mobile net worked fine, when I called suncom, they acted like they couldn't help me. They said I have I-link and I-net so I should be fine. The little G is at the top, please someone help me. I saved money for this phone and it doesn't work fully....please someone....email me, respond, or IM me

Can you try the following Internet and WAP setup and let us know if they work ;)

Internet service over the GPRS network (iLink)

Settings-Data Connections

Menu-Edit Connections

GPRS connections

Menu-Add

Description: GPRS Internet

Connects to: The Internet

Access point: internet

User name:

Password:

Primary DNS:

Secondary DNS:

IP address:

In Settings - Data connections

Internet Connection: GPRS Internet

In Internet Explorer, Menu-Options-Connections

Untick 'Auto detect settings'

Set 'Select network: 'The Internet'

WAP service over the GPRS network (iNet)

Settings-Data Connections

Menu-Edit Connections

GPRS connections

Menu-Add

Create GPRS connection.

Description: GPRS WAP

Connects to: The Internet

Access point: mobileinternet

User name:

Password:

Primary DNS:

Secondary DNS:

IP address:

Done

Done

Create proxy connection

Description: WAP Proxy

Connects from: The Internet

Connects to: WAP network

Proxy (name:port): 066.150.237.195:8080

Type: HTTP

In Settings - Data connections

WAP connection: GPRS WAP

In Internet Explorer, Menu-Options-Connections

Untick 'Auto detect settings'

Set 'Select network: WAP network'

MMS service over the GPRS network (iNotes)

GPRS connection:

Description: GPRS MMS

Connects to: Secure WAP network

Access point: mms

Username:

Password:

Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0

Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

I.P address: blank

In Data connections make 'Secure WAP Network: GPRS MMS'

Start-Configurations-MMS settings

Connects via: Secure WAP network

MMSC Address: http://mms.suncom.net:8088/mms

WAP gateway: 066.150.033.115

Port: 9201

It worked.....well somewhat, it keeps kicking me off of the connection because signal is low i think.

I didn't know which one of those that you said would make it work but this is what I have in my settings

Data connections:

Internet connection: GPRS

--in the GPRS connection:

--connects to: The internet

--access point: internet

WAP connection: GPRS WAP

--in the proxy connection:

--Connects from: The Internet

Connects to: WAP network

Proxy (name:port): 066.150.237.195:8080

Type: HTTP

In Internet Explorer Connections:

Unchecked -auto detect settings-

--Select Network: The Internet

So far, so good....it is working right now....thanks
