Hello all,

Im into making music, and wondered if it is possible to have an multi track recording program for the c550. so that i can record one part of an song then the next part on top.

a bit like Sound Recorder (or cuBase) but with a few more tracks.

i would be very greatful if any body could point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Miah

The answer is NO, Sorry but you have a PHONE not a PC. It would just kill it out right.

A Module maker/player would be more suited to the Smartphone so you can re-live the old module making days with XMs,S3Ms,IT and the like.

finally downloaded the app. depending on what u wanna use it for it's pretty good.

there's a massive bleed from the earpiece and an enormous latency problem, but i think you could get around that by loading a simple click or drum loop into the program and recording through a headset.

for what it is i think it's pretty cool (especially since it's free), although i will still probably just do single takes if i'm on holidays and away from my computer :)

hope this helps,

phil.

So what I want to know is....processor power considerations aside, is there anything hardware/opperating system wise to stop the smartphone carrying 2 audio streams concurrently?

So, if I had my phone plugged into my stereo playing some music, when it rang I could pop on a bluetooth headset & carry on with the phone call while the handset was still plugged in.

Anyone know if this is theoretically possible?
