Can't install new rom, C500

Could anyone help, I've got a Orange SPV C500:

I'm running this rom: Version 4.21.1088 (Build 15045.5.6.0)

I've tried to install the Orange Rom upgrades but everytime I try to install them the phone goes to the bootloader screen and the installation fails.

Any help would be most welcome.

Use the "search" button there is a topic wich tells you step by step how to do it . :idea:

Check the obvious : make sure you are not using a USB hub and that your firewall is not blocking the installer.

Yeh my firewall was shut down and I don't use a hub still stumped.

i'm sure i'm just being think, but i've looked everywhere and i still can't find the topic you referred to-could you be a little more precise about its whereabouts??

I couldn't find it either, but there's step by step instructions with the upgrade.

It just doesn't seem to work, unless there's something I'm missing or doing wrong or prehaps a problem with the setup on the phone.
