Guest duncan888 Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 (edited) Just for reference, I've tried the Imate SP5m in my BMW 3 Series Coupe with the bluetooth telephone and it works. Numbers come up on the radio display, can also be controlled to make calls with steering wheel, and sound quality is excellent. Edited January 15, 2006 by duncan888

I have a 2002 3-series and am looking for a BT kit that works with the steering wheel controls, and have just ordered an SP5m.

Thats right, stamp on us all ;) I'm not jealous :) I've always had a thing for 3 series, my favourite of the BMW range. Anyway, thanks for verifying :) Edited June 19, 2006 by w411y

I managed to pair my car with the phone, but it would not connect afterwards... Or perhaps did it take long to connect the first time? Maybe it's downloading the entire phonebook...?

Nevermind works perfectly now, almost. Somehow, it displays some old SMSs which I presume are stored on my SIM card, and don't come up on the phone! Also nice to see that leaving Bluetooth on doesn't really affect battery life!
Guest looeee Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 heh a 3 series coupe must be the ultimate sp5 phone-accessory. or is that the other way round?
