Hello Everyone:

When I press the unlock soft key it reads:

"This Device is Locked.

Enter Your Device

Password and press the

Unlock softkey"

I have tried everithing i have found over the internet... i have even tried paying for unlocking it on some site... but this happen to network unlock it... It appears it was already unlocked...

I do receive calls... but cannot do anything because of the "unlock" sign over the left softkey of the screen.

How can I Get it out of this Screen...

Best Regards,

Hello!

That message suggests that the original owner of the phone put a password on it to protect it and (intentionally) forgot to remove it before shipping it to you.

You'll have to hard-reset it to be able to use it again. I have a C500, and i'm not sure if these instructions apply, but you can try:

1) Shut down your phone. Take the battery out and put it back in, as you can't access the menu option.

2) Hold down both soft keys (the ones that normally change their function according to what's happening on the screen). Press the power button briefly. Don't release the softkeys yet.

3) Wait for a while.

4) Stop waiting when the phone prompts you to press 0 to perform a hard reset. Release the softkeys.

5) Press 0.

6) Wait a LONG time. Don't worry, it's normal for a reset to take 5 minutes or more.

7) Enjoy your Windows Mobile Device.

You could also try contacting the original owner to ask for the password, but that would take a longer time. Additionally, if he's [not a good guy] he might refuse giving it to you, so as not to let you gain access to the personal information that he might have forgotten on the phone.
