Guest Pulse Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Unfortunately I've got in some major debt, and cant afford to keep my o2 contract running. Again unfortunately, I'm outside of the 14 days with o2 now, so I cant cancel my contract. I'm being sent a replacement phone, so will have a brand new XDA Exec for sale. How much can I expect to get for it if I sold it? I saw expansys or some other website were selling B grade for £420 or something. Oh, and what would be the best way about going about selling it? Cheers! ;)

If it's new in the box anything from 300 -500 on ebay if you're willing to send abroad - but this is more risky than selling toi someone in the UK. Bear in mind that the £420 is a repaired unit, and offer a buy-it-now of around £425 and I'd think it would go fairly quickly. Richard
Guest Pulse Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Well that's good news at least, so at least I can buy out my contract. OK, I will give it a go at 425 quid on eBay. Btw, yes, they're sending me a brand new replacement, with all unused accessories.

The Buy-It-Nows are all around the £400 mark. Seems weird given that you can get one new from O2 for £390 including a years contract.
Guest Pulse Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Thanks for having a look for me xerxes ;) It's going to be for sale as of tomorrow, so at least some of the debt will be gone! :D Back to a D500 for me :D

Lets hope it goes for a decent price. By the way, as far as non Smartphones go I can strongly recommend the Sony Ericsson K750i. The sound quality is fantastic, the camera and MP3 player are both great, you can get a really nice stereo headset for music, and there are bags of cheap java games on the net.
