Guest Loki117 Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 (edited) Good afternoon! I'm using the new Qtek 8310 and love it however I had a thought. I txt from home alot and noticed this costs me 12p per text so I have dev'd an app which allows me to send txt's over wi-fi @ 5p per text. Would anyone be intrested in this? I thought about putting it up on the software section at a few pounds to download but my question is would anyone use it? Edited January 16, 2006 by Loki117
Guest kam_ Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 I've tried a few of these, and they use unofficial gateways which go down very often, and can take forever to deliver the message. at 5p i'm asuming you're using one of the payed gateways? Which one are you using? There's a few that let you SMS from the web (so pocket IE over WiFi) anyway.

Delivery is garenteed @ less than 3 minutes for the UK so can't be bad. And my thought behind it being an app was so that you didnt have to fire up a website as that can be a pain sometimes. Just a thought.
