Guest BigAl94 Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Got an upgrade to the C600 today. Just one issue, the 1 button doesn't call answerphone, no number comes up on the screen and just three bleeps. Can acess it by dialling 123 or via the Orange Plus symbol where the number appears - any suggestions?
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 (edited) It's the usual case of the wrong setting in the phone when you get it. Go to "Start, Settings, Phone, Call Options" and then change "Voice Mail Number" to +447973100123. Incidently, check the "HTC Tornado" section for more threads/posts on the C600 ;) . According to Orange Technical Support it's a known issue, can't be fixed, only answer is to dial 123 :D and might be corrected with a ROM update in the future!!!!
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 It was an issue at one point with one of the ROM updates on the C500, whereby the number wouldn't stick to what it was set to and would change on a soft reset. But i've not heard of any problem with it on the C600, other than it not being set from new.
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Doesn't seem to be set up correctly initially but, once you go into Call options, the phone should automatically download the number(s) from the internet.
