tom tom 5.2 slow on orange c550

i am looking for some advice...

i am running tom tom 5.2 on an orange c550 smartphone,and all works well except for one little snag.when i am driving tom tom seems to be about 100 yards behind me(in other words it seems to be going to slow)i was wondering if this is normal,or is there something i can do to get it into real time???

i have a 512 mini sd card with 220mb spare,so its not as if it is all being used.

wud be very gratefull of any help....

Are you using TomTom's own GPS? If not it could the GPS unit you are using.

I have TomTom 5.2 running fine on my C550.

no,i am using a fuzion 16 channel gps unit......my friend has one of these with a m2000 and it all happens in real time??

Well, whats it like with the Original TomTom GPS unit that came with the softwere?

also, try it with the POI's disabled.

i got the phone,software,and gps unit from ebay,so therefore have no tom tom gps unit.

but will try it with poi's disabled right now when i take kids to school........be right back,ok...

well thanx james,just got back from school,and it is running like a dream without poi's enabled.......don't spose theres anyway of speeding the thing up with them the poi's on is there,or am i asking for too much.....lol
