Guest sjarawan Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 I just got this phone and so far I've missed 1/2 of my calls because as I take it out of the case the right function button gets accidently hit, sending the call to voice mail. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, Sam

It will be sad when you'll have to pay for log call phone "made on his own" when buttons accidently pressed while been in the case or corrupted the data writing the common gibberish or even deleting vital files.

This key causes the call to go directly to voicemail even when the phone is locked. I want to be able to disable this key from doing that if possible?

You can't disable the button, but the way I take the phone out, is to open the case and push it out from the bottom.
Guest NoneUser Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Ditto on this problem. I just got the 2125 this week, and I've missed nearly every call. I'm tempted to return it for that reason alone. The keys press too easily, and despite my best efforts, calls still get forwarded. And if (God forbid) you forget to lock the keys, all kinds of buttons get pushed. I'm thinking a different case might work better. Maybe something that I can leave the phone in all the time. Maybe that will help keep the buttons from getting pushed. Overall, a great phone, and the reception and battery life are outstanding. But if I keep missing calls, it's not much good to me. If I find a solution, I'll let you know. On a side note, after having used the mpx220 for over a year, I'm also not real crazy about the joystick on the 2125. Compared to the 220, it's a nightmare.
Guest m8cca Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Anyone found a good solution to this problem yet? I always lock the keypad but within the belt case the phone will find ways to unlock itself and start making calls, or mess up my contact info. And yes, I missed a lot of calls too, always need to call people back. Did you find a good belt case for this phone? Or a software solution to change the button (lock/unlock/answer/ignore) assignment?
