Guest harlex Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Is there an upper limit to the size of the MiniSD card that can successfully be used in an i-mate SP5. I was going to purchase a 1Gb card but thought that I would put it to the forum and see if there is any comment which may be helpful in selecting the size and brand of the card. Thanks in advance.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 The bigger the better. If you can get your hands on a 2GB card....do it, though price may be a factor. SanDisk is always my first choice. Kingston is good as well. You dont really hear many horror stories about memory cards anymore, but you can never be too safe. I'd stick with SanDisk...but you may be more of a risk taker than me! ;)
Guest harlex Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Many thanks, at the moment I have only seen 1Gb cards around in Australia and at this point its not worth shipping from overseas. Cheers.

Cheers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1GB SanDisk cards are available for under £45 in the UK. 2Gb ones are still a bit pricey. ;)
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 £34 plus a couple of quid delivery (for the uk) for a 1gb Sandisk. For that price you'd be a fool not too, ;). http://www.onlinememory.co.uk/index.php?ma...2a8a7f79bbba003 I've bought from them before and not had problems.
