Should myIP be able to ping my VPN? I am having VPN and Exchange connection problems and am trying to nail down the exact issue. My notebook PC doesn't ask for a port and it can ping my vpn, both by the vpn.name... and hard IP. My phone on the other hand can't ping either but asks for a port. Should I change the port from my phone? Is there a chance that the phone is firewalling the VPN?

Also myIP looks funny on my WM5 smartphone at 320x140 resolution. Any other recommendations? A tracert program would be nice as well.

If you take a look on your Tornado's Smartphone Windows folder you might find a program very interesting.. It is called NetworkTestSp.exe this offers you the possibility to ping some host on the internet and also on a local network if you are connect to one of this two.

I was receiving the same thing with my Imate SP5 but played around with it. Go to advanced settings change ConnInfo: Priority to 08000.User interactive.

After changing it to this I was able to ping inside and outside IP's using WIFI. I also tried using Cingular's EDGE network and it also worked.
