i need to know the same thing!!

largely because i've just upgrades to a c600, altho i still have my c500. annoying thing is i can't sync the c600 at the mo because i apparently need all the service pack updates for xp before i install activesync 4.0 that comes with the phone.

so from that, im guessing that the c600 wont work on the version the c500 uses, which sucks cos all i wana do is sync my contacts accross to the new phone!!

for the moment ive had to resort to copying them onto the sim card, which quite frankly, isnt good enough!

anyone out there able to help, be very very much appreciated. :??:

ActiveSync is ActiveSync, it will work for all Windows Mobile devices. You can not how ever sync 2 devices simultaneously.

You will need AS4.1 I beleive for Windows Mobile 5 devices.

I use activeSync 4.0, that came with the phone, to sync both my c600 and e200 but not both at the same time.

So, no issues, well none other than the normal AS issues ;)

As far as i know C500 can be syncronized with 3.71 and above including 4..0 or 4.1 version of Active Sync but C600 does not work under 4.0 .Both at the same time ,i never tried ,but i don't think it will work . ;)

U can download Acticve Sync 4.1 from the Microsoft site .C600 won't work under 4.0 .Uninstall Active Sync 3.71 or 3.80 from C500 ,and when you are asked about the deletion of the syncronized files click "No" .If u haven't installed 4.1 yet be aware that a firewall may block it as it emulates a network adapter and creates a LAN to connect to your PC ,so u can configure your firewall to let the phone sync or disable it when u want to sync. ;)

It will not work with the version of Active Sync from C500 .C600 needs version 4.0 at least in order to run .And C500 can be syncronized with it as well . ;)

I am still running C500 with no probs on the AS4.1 I need for the C600. Only problem is that I have to turn off zone alarm to allow the C600 to activesync. So I just connected up the C600 and activesynced all the contacts and calendar etc straight to it. As I am now not using the C500 don't need to use it but it did work fine.

Anyone want a C500? and has anyone found software for the C600 yet? managed to get Tiny book reader that works OK so far.
