SPV C550 with SE HCB-300

Help Reqired!!

I have recently had the HCB-300 car kit installed into my car and paired my SPV C550 to it. It makes the call fine, however when disconnecting the call the handset believes that the call is still connected and the radio / cd does not come back on. The next call is then just a whole load of noise with neither party capable of hearing each other. I believe that the issue is with the handset as the car kit was tested with another handset and disconnected correctly.

Please help!!
