Guest Alby Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Hi all, I recentley encoded (PocketDivXEncoder)and copied to my c55o a full length movie. It plays fine(TCPMP) but the timer in the top right of the TCPMP window does not work nor the time slider bar. Therefore I can't fast forward or skip scenes. ;) Other movies I've encoded with different software are fine. Any ideas?
Guest Confused Stu Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Odd one, never had that before. What settings are you using in PocketDivxEncoder - which boxes are ticked and which aren't? Alternatively, try encoding a very short video (up to 1 min max) and attaching it here. That way other people can try it and tell you if it's a quirk of PocketDivxEncoder or your version of TCPMP. Which versions of both softwares are you using, by the way?

If I go into media info when the movie is opened,it shows duration as 0:00.809 and filesize 6kb  I will look at the pocket divx settings tonight. Stu..nice Alfa by the way....got one myself ;)
Guest Confused Stu Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Good choice Alby! Only problem is the wife's just got herself one too. It's less powerful (good) but came with SatNav built in!!! ;) Saving up for TomTom now....
