Guest 111hhh111 Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Hi, I've just logged a case for a repair of my C500 which has just suddenly got a large crack on the inside of the screen. However I can't seem to figure out where I send the phone to, or if it has been accepted by HTC repairs department. I've got an email with a case number, password but no mention of when the phone need to be sent. Also do you think they will accept the return as the damage is to the screen. The crack has occured inside the screen and it cannot be felt outside by tracing my finger over it. thanks
Guest fluffcat1 Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Hello, the return address should be on the email they sent you - you need to mark your RMA on the package. I doubt they'll cover LCD damage under warranty. I'd expect they'll charge you approx £90. I sell the LCD's on ebay for about £40 ish. Richard
