Guest Shaks Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Hi I currently have my holux 236 gps receiver hardwired into my car so it switches on when the ignition is on. I would like to know if there is any software that can load tomtom automatically as soon as it detects the bluetooth connection the the gps receiver? This way all I would do everytime I get in my car is put the phone in the cradle and away I go. No missing speed cams hopefully. I currently have an spv m500 Shaks
Guest Pete2 Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 I don't know if you've got a file explorer on the spv but if you have you can add tomtom.exe to startupfolder in windows - this should get it running as soon as you turn your phone on.

I only want it on when the gps receiver is detected. Shaks
Guest Pete2 Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Theres a program called "pocketmax phonealarm" ( http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.htm )which works on the pda phones and you can select various profiles from a menu. In the settings you can set what to have on or off (bluetooth, wifi, radio) for each profile and also which programs to run when you switch to that profile. You could set the car profile to turn bluetooth on and run tomtom at the same time.
