Guest smith_ts Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Hello everyone! I recently started using iTunes on my laptop and imported all my CD's. Problem is i've just realised i've imported them as AAC files & not MP3s. Is there anyway i can get Windows Media on smartphone to recognise the file type (think its M4P)? Or is there a way to convert it on my laptop before transferring to the C550? Thank you Tony

Thank you Tony <{POST_SNAPBACK}> if you right click (in itunes) on the song title (or selected group of titles) you will get an option to convert to mp3. this may take some time, depending on how many aac encoded files you have. if you're not planning on using them with an iPod I'd recommend deleting all the aac format files once you've completed the conversion. Guest skyfox01_99 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 dbPowerAmp can convert AAC to MP3/WMA/OGG. Just have a peek at google for the url.
