Guest m1k1 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 (edited) Does anybody know how to add other/new T9 languages? I have the dll with specific language but I was unable to do it. I did it on other HW + WM5, but I wasn't successful on QTEK 8310. Edited February 8, 2006 by m1k1
Guest m1k1 Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 It looks like that the dll is not signed and therefore it doesn't work

Guest m1k1 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Maybe the phone isn't fully app unlocked? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have unlocked it. But doesn't help. I have used this unlock precedure.: By default WM2005 is locked so certificate installations fail (for ActiveSync with Exchange server etc). 1. Enable RAPI and user provided certificates: You must use a registry editor signed by something the phone trusts already! RegEditSTG - http://blogs.conchango.com/stuartpre...regeditSTG.zip will do the trick as it is already signed by HTC. Copy the exe onto the device, launch it and change the policies as follows: Navigate to HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\ Click "Values" soft-key Change "00001001" value to 1 (decimal) (recovery note: default is 2) Change "00001005" value to 40 (decimal) (recovery note: default is 16) Reboot device. (full power off, wait, power on) At this point, you could probably import the certificates as above. However, I decided to go the whole way and completely unlock my device. *EDIT* On Orange SPV-C600 I was not able to import a root certificate at this stage - a complete 'unlock' as stage 2 below was necessary. 2. Run SDA Security Unlocker to trust all applications (use this with caution): Available from http://blogs.conchango.com/stuartpre...tionUnlock.zip With the device connected by ActiveSync, run the program on your desktop machine. Click Remove-Lock. Reboot device. (full power off, wait, power on)
Guest m1k1 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Problem solved!!! :-) I found the T9SlovakLdb.dll signed by HTC and now it works. The dll is attached. Follow this steps: 1/ made the folder "t9" on my storage card and put the T9SlovakLdb.dll file there 2/ download RegEdit (signed by HTC) and make this changes in registries http://blogs.conchango.com/stuartpre...regeditSTG.zip HKLM\MUI\Available (Added string 041b with value "Slovak") HKLM\T9 Input Method\MUI\Languages (Added ",041b" to end of value data list) HKLM\T9 Input Method\LDBs (Added string 041b with value "\Storage Card\t9\T9SlovakLdb.dll) This works for Qtek 8310.T9SlovakLdb.zip
