Guest simonbratt99 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 hi Are there any yet? i guess really if just like them to run full screen.
Guest jakobdam Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 I've written a list for free Windows Mobile 5.0 / QVGA games and applications. The list is in danish - but you should be able to see what's what from the links. ;) The links are in red. http://www.vildmedmobil.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=435 More links are added continuously; all of them will work on any Tornado or Faraday device, but a very few of them are unfortunately not full screen.
Guest simonbratt99 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 (edited) cheers jokob So if apps are for WM5 and qvga then they will work full screen on the C600? Is kevTris full screen? Edited January 23, 2006 by simonbratt99
Guest pedroms1 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Hi... Because games seem to be the only thing that developers have forgot to update to QVGA screens, I used to play those old (But very enjoyable) GBC and Genesis roms... (how i like to play Harvest moon and Sonic in my SP5), until the day I just got this idea... I started to play java games for Motorola E1000!!! They seem to work like a candy in our QVGA screen, and the main advantage is that you are playing NEW games, that are always updating... (Like the Prince of Persia...) This way, i can play Who Wants to be a Milionaire on my own phone. Sorry for the bad english. ;)
Guest jakobdam Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 simonbratt > Yip, the C600 (HTC Tornado) is VERY identical to QTek 8300/8310 (HTC Faraday). The only difference is, in fact, the missing WLAN component(s) in the Faraday device (and then some design details). They can even share the same ROM (but this does NOT enable WLAN on the C600, as hardware can not be installed via firmware update). ;) The KevTris game works - but is not fullscreen... I put it there only because it works - I've considered making a translation of it all... but there's just so bloody much to be done... I've got an even bigger list for free games/applications for the HTC Typhoon/Feeler devices, and ouch I could spend a lot of evenings doing nothing but boring translations. :D
