Lost access to MMS messaging and settings

In an attempt to clean out the Outlook Inbox I deleted the cemail.vol in the root folder of my Cingular 2125. It is subsequently recreated by now I don't have access to the MMS Inbox or settings.

Does any one know how to fix this? If the delete cemail.vol is indeed the curpuit, can someone share with me their cemail.vol file. I'd like to avoid a hard reset by all means.....

After some more searching, I realize the prob can be fix if I have access to the cab files in the extended rom. However, it seems to be locked on Cingular 2125 and can't find a way to unlock it yet?

If you have a sibling of my phone with unlocked extended rom or access to the cab files otherwise, can you help by sending me the files?
