Guest squilla Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before, I have looked about on here but can't find anything specific. Basically I have looked into CoPilot but it seems most folk on here prefer TomTom. Which version of TomTom would I need for the SPV M5000 please? I live in the UK and im really interested in getting some sat nav software but i'm new to all this and would like to find out more about it before I shell out loads for it. Is there anyway to test the software before you buy it? Thanks in advance ;)

As far as I know Tom Tom do no t provide trials, but what you could do is go to any major retail park and try some of the Tom Tom sat nav kits available in PC World, Halfords etc. All Tom Tom software is the same now spread across all devices including Palm etc, So you can get a general feel for it. Just make sure any specific feature you require is present, by checking on TomToms website.
Guest thereaperman Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 i use tomtom on my k-jam it works great, i have speed camera's(www.pocketgpsworld.com), and some funny voice files, ie dareks etc. works a treat. the version that works on wm5 is the 5.2XX version.
