WMP 7 problem

i got my new phone, now i have my themes and programs working, but when i open a mp3 or wma file on my sd card Windows media player opens and stops, i dont know if it is freezing, but its not the file coz i tried many songs, the default mp3 that came with the phone works, and i dont thing wmp froze coz the menu bar works, the thing it does is have all the buttons on the screen, but the play button is missing, and i waited, still wont work, Help Please!!!
