Hi all i recently purchased a c600 from orange which all in all i`ve been very happy with (except for the 3 replacements i`ve had to have due to the joystick!) but i`m having problems with tomtom mobile 5. My c600 pairs with the gps unit in the bluetooth settings but whenever i start the app it states no gps unit . I have looked around the forum and tried evey fix i`ve found but to no avail can anyone here help me out at all!! I`m using a genuine tom tom gps unit by the way ! many thanks in advance

with the genuine tomtom gps, you dont need to pair it first

just make sure in tomtom gps settings you select the genuine tomtom gps unit as the type you wish to use

also esure you have the 5.20 update from the tomtom site

i have the updates and i`ve tried not pairing it first aswell as pairing it and still no joy ;)

The trick is to call the GPS "BT GPS".

Refer to gpspassion forums if you still have problems
